02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
→ Decoration
10 - 16 grape tomatoes or small cherry tomatoes
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
# How To Make:
01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
03 - Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
04 - Brush each dough triangle lightly with the herb butter mixture, then evenly sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over each piece.
05 - Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end toward the tip to create crescent shapes.
06 - Place the crescents on the baking sheet forming a Christmas tree shape: one roll at top, then successive rows of two, three, four, and five rolls, with remaining rolls positioned as the trunk beneath.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
08 - Remove from oven and while still warm, brush with any remaining herb butter mixture.
09 - Garnish with grape tomatoes as ornaments and sprinkle with additional fresh parsley if desired.
10 - Serve warm as a festive appetizer or snack.
