This board is one of my favorite easy yet impressive appetizers to serve guests in any season.

Ingredients

  • Cheeses: 100 g Brie, sliced, 100 g aged Cheddar, cubed, 100 g blue cheese, crumbled
  • Charcuterie (optional for vegetarians): 80 g prosciutto, 80 g salami, sliced
  • Fresh Fruits: 1 cup red grapes, washed, 1 pear, thinly sliced, 1 apple, thinly sliced, 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • Accompaniments: 1/4 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans), 1/4 cup olives (green or black), 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp fig jam
  • Breads & Crackers: 1 small baguette, sliced, 1 cup assorted crackers

Instructions

Arrange cheeses:
Arrange the cheeses on a large board or platter, spacing them evenly.
Arrange charcuterie:
Fold and arrange the charcuterie slices around the cheeses.
Add fruits:
Nestle the fresh fruits and dried apricots between the cheese and meat.
Scatter nuts and olives:
Scatter mixed nuts and olives around the board for texture and flavor.
Place condiments:
Place small bowls or ramekins on the board for honey and fig jam.
